Meeting resolves to conduct a ‘Dasari Maha Sammelanam' either at Tirumala or Tirupati Proposal to organise Loka Kalyana Rathams in fishermen localities on the anvil TIRUMALA.: The TTD's Central Dharmika Council which met at Tirumala on Saturday proposed to conduct ‘Akhanda Veda Parayanam' at Tirumala daily. It was decided to get the approval of the Board of Trustees for the conduct of ‘Akhanda Veda Parayanam'. Briefing the deliberations of the meeting, the TTD Executive Officer I.Y.R. Krishna Rao who presided over the meeting said that under the proposal the entire temple town will reverberate with the rhythmic chanting of the Vedas round the clock by eminent Vedic scholars daily. Another important recommendation was to conduct a ‘Dasari Maha Sammelanam' either at Tirumala or Tirupati in the first week of August pending approval by the TTD Trust Board. The meeting also resolved to propose the conduct of Loka Kalyana Rathams and Govinda Kalyanams in the fishermen areas all across the State in the last week of July. The meeting also expressed its happiness over the good response received from the public for its Loka Kalyana Rathams conducted recently in the East Godavari, Adilabad and Anantapur districts.
