Sudhanandhen passes away

ERODE: Erode Sengunthar Educational Institutions Correspondent J. Sudhanandhen passed away in a Madurai hospital on Friday night following cardiac arrest. He was 66.

He was returning Erode in a car after attending a programme in Madurai when he suffered cardiac arrest.

He was rushed to a private hospital in Madurai, where he breathed last.

He leaves behind his wife Vasantha. Mr. Sudhanandhen was honoured with Udyog Rattan Award in the year 1985 recognising his contributions for the development of the handloom sector.

He was the correspondent of Erode Sengunthar Engineering College, M.P. Nachimuthu M. Jaganathan Engineering College, Erode Sengunthar Boys and Girls Schools and a few other educational institutions.

He also held various positions in a number of organisations and associations.
