NEW DELHI: Rishabh Pant's century helped Sonnet Club beat West Delhi Academy by seven wickets and enter the semifinals of the Sonnet Cup cricket tournament at the Venkteswara College ground here on Saturday. The scores: West Delhi Academy 183 for eight in 35 overs (Tejender Singh 81, Aditya Manchanda 32, Pragam Sharma three for 29, Arjun Yadav three for 36) lost to Sonnet Club 185 for three in 30.2 overs (Rishabh Pant 104, Sagar Sehrawat 30 not out). Gush Club 134 in 35 overs (Yash Madan 40, Hitesh Sharma 35, Mayank Dagar three for 17) lost to Telefunken Club 137 for seven in 30 overs (Mayank Dagar 31, Parth Madan 27, Aman Grewal three for 25).— Sports Reporter
