KADAPA: In a second bomb attack in Jammalamadugu constituency in Kadapa district within a week, a Congress activist Yeddula Sivasankara Reddy alias Sivudu (55) and his accomplice Manohar sustained splinter injuries when unidentified persons hurled a bomb while they were travelling on a motorcycle in Jammalamadugu town on Sunday night.

Sivudu and Manohar came out of the Recreation Club at around 8.15 p.m. and set off on their motorcycle when they were attacked. Sivudu sustained splinter injuries and Manohar sustained a leg injury. The police rushed to the place and sent them to Jammalamadugu Government hospital. Sivudu belonging to Suddapalli village in Peddamudiyam mandal was said to be an accused in a double murder case.
