Houses burgled

Chennai: MGR Nagar police are investigating a house break-in on Nagappan Street in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Nesapakkam.
According to police, a lorry broker B. Seetharaman left for Tiruvannamalai with his family on Friday.
When the family returned home on Saturday, they found that gold jewellery and cash were missing from the bureau. In another incident, police have registered a case of burglary in Pondy Bazaar on Saturday.
According to police, Sumanth Reddy and his wife, residing in Yogambal Street had gone to visit their relatives in Rangarajapuram on Friday. When they returned home on Saturday they found several valuables missing from their house. The couple who had been appointed to tend to the house were also missing.
