Thangasamy passes away

B.Thangasamy

Coimbatore: B. Thangasamy, a practicing labour lawyer for 45 years and Secretary of the Stanes Higher Secondary School Trust Association passed away due to illness at a private hospital on Wednesday. He was 75. He is survived by a son and a daughter.

Mr. Thangasamy was an advisor to several public sector undertakings, co-operative societies, textile companies and plantations.

He was the President of the Keerthanaiyin Mahimai Trust and Managing Trustee of Kamalam Thangasamy Charitable Trust. He was involved in the activities of various social service organisations, schools and colleges and was instrumental in the Kamarajar Matriculation School Project.
