Book on Gandhian values released

PUDUKOTTAI: ‘Gandhiyin Theendaamai' authored by the Ambedkar-Periyar-Karl Marx Panpattu Iyakkam was released here recently.
Noted writer Prabanjan released the book and the first copy was received by Adhavan Deetachanya, writer.
Rasi Pannerselvan, another writer, who reviewed the book, highlighted several incidents in the life of Mahatma that has been described by the author in detail.
Social evil
In his acceptance speech , Na. Jayaraman, described untouchability as a serious social evil and called upon every individual to fight against the same.
Overall socio-economic development could be achieved only through complete eradication of untouchability.
He also described the circumstances that made him author the book.
