Commercial:A craftsman working on a clay model to be kept at the proposed fantasy park at Murugharajendra Math in Chitradurga on Wednesday. Chitradurga: Shivamurthy Murughaswami said on Wednesday that Murugharajendra Math has taken up development works worth Rs. 8 crore with funds released by the State Government. Addressing presspersons here, he said the Government had released Rs. 1 crore each for the development of the math and to set up the Allama Prabhu Peetha. The math is constructing a large museum at the cost of about Rs. 5 crore, the seer said. The Government has already granted Rs. 2.4 crore for the purpose, he added. The math, he said, had at least 3,000 ancient objects, which would be kept in the museum. It had also urged the Union Government to extend financial aid for the construction of the museum. “For the visitors, a fantasy park is also been planned on the math premises. It will be fun, especially for children,” he said. All the development works was expected to be completed in five years, he added.
