All MBBS seats under OC, BC category filled

CHENNAI: On the third day of counselling for MBBS seats here on Wednesday, all the seats under the OC and BC category were filled.

The cut off mark for the OC category was 198 and for BC, 196.

Of the 1,398 seats available, 559 remain to be filled, according to selection committee officials. On Wednesday, 380 candidates were called for counselling, of whom eight were absent, and 302 allotted seats.

On Thursday, candidates belonging to the BC (M) and MBC categories will appear for counselling.
