NEW DELHI: Omkar Singh finished 23rd with a score of 553 in men's free pistol in the shooting World Cup in Belgrade. The Indian shooters were unable to make an impact in women's 25-metre sport pistol and 10-metre air rifle as well. In the women's air rifle final, Sonja Pfeilschifter of Germany had to endure a tie-shoot for the gold against Snjezana Pejcic of Croatia, which the German won 10.5 to 10.4, despite having shot a world record equalling 400 in the qualification phase.
