ADGP visits sub-jail

Nagercoil: ADGP (Prison) Syam Sundar on Friday and inspected the sub-jail at Nagercoil. He held discussions with the jail authorities and heard the grievances of prisoners.

There were 80 prisoners in the sub-jail and the ADGP asked them to air their grievances, if any. He also asked them about the behaviour of jail authorities. When the jail authorities requested him to take steps to fill the three jailer posts, the ADGP assured them that this was brought to the notice of higher official and immediate action would be taken.
