THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The inaugural Stag All-India prize money invitation tournament for women will begin at the Central Stadium on Monday. Central Railway (Mumbai), South Western Railway (Hubli), South Central Railway (Secundrabad) and KSEB (Thriuvananthapuram) are the four teams taking part in the tournament which is played on a league basis. An all-Kerala tournament for men comprising Central Excise and Customs, KSEB, BSNL and Mar Ivanios College will be held along with the women's tournament. The tournament is organised by J.J.Sports Club under the auspices of the Thiruvananthapuram District Basketball Association. The finals will be played on July 8. Kerala Sports Minister M.Vijayakumar will inaugurate the tournament.
