KOLLAM: It has been decided to revive the Kollam Municipal Golden Jubilee Memorial Football Tournament, Mayor V. Rajendrababu has said. It will be held from August 1 to 20. Apart from known football teams in Kerala, 15 teams from West Bengal, Goa, Bangalore, Punjab, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai will participate in the tournament. Organising the tournament in such a short time is a challenging task, the Mayor said. In order to constitute the organising committee for the tournament, a meeting will be held at the Municipal Town Hall at 3 p.m. on July 8. The Mayor invited all football lovers to attend the meeting.
