Clear pending LRS applications: official

VISAKHAPATNAM: VUDA Vice-Chairman B. Sreedhar has directed the officials and staff of the Planning wing to obtain the necessary information from the departments concerned to clear the pending Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) applications as early as possible. Since obtaining necessary information by the applicants from the departments such as Revenue, Registrations and other government agencies takes time and Field Measurement Book (FMB) sketches, market value, government land details and survey numbers etc., are common to applications from the same area, he has asked VUDA officials to obtain official documents.

Mr. Sreedhar made it clear that officers and staff concerned would be responsible and serious action taken for intentional delay or delay without reason in disposal of applications. If necessary, the staff should contact the applicants who submitted required papers. He directed the staff to clear files relating to construction of apartments in the VMR region and delay beyond one month would not be tolerated.
