Duplicate auto spare parts seized

Coimbatore: Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR) along with police officers from the Video Piracy Cell of the Crime Branch CID raided an automobile spare parts dealer in Ram Nagar and seized large quantities of duplicate automobile spare parts bearing the name and emblem of BOSCH.
Based on a complaint from EIPR on behalf of BOSCH, Superintendent of Police, CB-CID, Video Piracy, Subramanian and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Video Piracy Cell, Rajendran ordered for a raid by Inspector of Video Piracy Cell, Vetrivel. A case has been registered against the owner of the firm, Nimaram Veeraramji under sections 63 of Copy Rights Act and 78 and 79 of Trade and Merchandise Act.
