MYSORE: Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation Limited (KSIC) is catering to non-residential Indian (NRI) customers through online sale of Mysore Silk saris. Though the online sale facility was introduced two years ago, it is yet to make a big impact. KSIC Managing Director Baladeva Krishna told presspersons here that 108 silk saris had been sold online since April 2009, making a business of Rs. 16 lakh. Most of the buyers are NRIs, he said.
