Kageri asks legislators, public to adopt government schools

Special Correspondent

BANGALORE: Primary and Secondary Education Minister Vishveswara Hegde Kageri on Friday appealed to legislators and the public to adopt government schools in their jurisdiction and sponsor their development.

Replying to Bharatiya Janata Party member Vimala Gowda during question hour in the Council, the Minister said it was difficult for the Government alone to focus on the development of each and every school as the State had about 50,000 government schools.
