Hubli-Dharwad
HUBLI: Nearly 15,000 students and their parents are expected to participate in an eleven-day annual “heritage fest” conducted by the Hubli-Dharwad unit of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Deputy Commissioner Darpan Jain will inaugurate the festival on Monday. ISKCON's Hubli-Dharwad president Rajiv Lochan Das told presspersons here on Saturday that competitions in drama, dance, music, quiz and art would be held. The competitions would be conducted on the premises of the ISKCON temple here. The prize distribution ceremony, would be held after the Janmashtami celebrations. A rolling trophy would be given to the school with the best overall performance.
