Shopping festival from today

CHENNAI: ‘The Hindu Retail Plus Utsav 2010' is here! Right from consumer electronics, furniture, automobiles, kitchen accessories and textiles to imitation jewellery, carpets, quilts, handicrafts and holiday resorts that would help you plan your holiday, a whole range of products and services will be available at the exhibition.
The mega shopping festival will be held at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, from July 15 to 19, between 10 a.m. and 8.30 p.m. The entry fee per person is Rs.40.
Actor Arun Vijay of Maanja Velu fame will inaugurate the show at 11.30 a.m.
Partnering The Hindu Retail Plus in the event is co-sponsor First Step & Prop Shell. Radio Partner for the event is Suryan FM 93.5 FM and the water partner is REPUTE. The Event Partner for the show is I Ads and Events.
Keeping up with the mood of the Tamil month Aadi, which is turning out to be an ideal period to do value shopping, manufacturers and retailers will offer attractive discounts. And, if you go hungry after all the shopping, there is a food court offering an interesting spread.
