KOZHIKODE: Members of the Aided Higher Secondary Teachers Association (AHSTA) staged a protest by beating drums in front of the Civil Station here on Wednesday in protest against the government's refusal to heed to the demand for abolition of posts of junior teachers in higher secondary schools, conversion of Principal's post to administrative cadre and opening of regional offices in all districts. Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary and former Minister P. Sankaran inaugurated the dharna.
