Dalits seek transfer of DC, SP

KOLAR: Activists of the Dalit Sangharsh Samiti held a procession here on Wednesday demanding the transfer of Deputy Commissioner N. Prabhakar and Superintendent of Police K. Tyagarajan for their alleged anti-Dalit approach. They also held ZP authorities responsible for the “misappropriation of funds earmarked for various projects for Dalits”. They submitted a memorandum to ZP president addressed to district in charge and Higher Education Minister Aravind Limbavali. — Staff Reporter
