Vinati Organics to invest Rs. 120 crore

MUMBAI: Vinati Organics, a leading manufacturer of IBB (Isobutyl Benzene) and second largest manufacturer of ATBS (2-acrylamido-2-methyl propane sulfonic) acid, will be expanding the capacity of these products involving an outlay of Rs. 120 crore. The capacity of ATBS will be increased to 18,000 tonnes from 10, 000 tonnes. Its Isobutylene plant, one of the key raw materials for ATBS, has already been commissioned in June, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
