Protection for college

Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Thursday directed the Superintendent of Police, Idukki, to give adequate police protection to the Principal, staff, students and property of Newman College, Thodupuzha, for the smooth conduct of classes. The Bench comprising Justice K.M. Joseph and Justice M.L. Joseph Francis issued the directive on a writ petition filed by the manager and Principal of the college. The order will remain in force for two weeks.
