IGNOU starts admission

NEW DELHI: Admissions to the full time B.A. and M.A. academic programmes of Indira Gandhi National Open University began on Friday.
The University said the programmes in which admission can be taken without entrance tests are B.A. in Applied Sign Language Studies, Preparatory Programme for Deaf Students; M.A. in Gandhi and Peace Studies; Extension and Development Studies; Translation Studies; Labour and Development; Social and Anthropology Historical Perspective; Gender and Development Studies; and Women and Gender Studies. Other full time courses that require students to clear entrance exams are M.A. in Social Work (Philanthropy); Journalism and Mass Communication; Electronic Media Production and Management; and M.Sc. in Chemistry and Life Sciences.
