VISAKHAPATNAM: Horlicks Wiz Kids 2010, India's largest inter-school literary and cultural fiesta is back in its seventh year. It promises to be a bigger and better avatar this year with participation expected from more than two lakh students from 1,500 schools across 17 cities in India. The city-level rounds will be held at Kalavani Port Trust Auditorium on Saturday, July 24, from which two city finalists will be selected to represent the city in the national finals. Horlicks Wiz Kids 2010 offers an extensive platform to the students to participate, perform, witness, cheer and educate themselves by engaging in a plethora of ‘fun and learn' activities. “I Want It All”, the theme for this year's fiesta, builds on the promise of providing children with a variety of opportunities to display their talent beyond academics and encourage team spirit through more than thirty action packed competitions. Options Ranging from events like War of the DJs for the music enthusiasts to Face Painting for the artists to Motor-mouth for those who can't help but talk, the festival gives a variety of options across diverse subjects such as music, literature, dance, singing, writing, speaking, creativity, talent, art and design. From the past two years, the event has attained a South Asian footprint. Taking this initiative forward, this year also, the winners from city finals would be competing with finalists from Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal during the South Asia finals.
