Light showers in city

Chennai: Some parts of the city, including Mylapore, Royapettah, Anna Nagar and Egmore, received light showers on Friday. Meteorological Department officials attributed the rainfall of 2.5 mm recorded at Nungambakkam to thunderstorm activity. Meenambakkam did not register any rainfall.

Forecast

Some areas will experience rain or thundershower, the forecast for Saturday said.
