School basketball season from July 22

KOCHI: The Kerala schools basketball circuit, packed tightly with many new tournaments this time, begins with the Lourdean Trophy at Kottayam's Lourde School and Junior College on July 22.

Kochi's Christu Jayanthi Public School (Kakkanad) has introduced an all-India tournament this year which is open to teams from CBSE, ICSE and State schools.

Kerala schools calendar: Lourdean Trophy (Lourde School, Kottayam, July 22-26); KE Trophy (Kurikose Elias English Medium School, Mannanam, Aug. 7-8); Ephreme's Trophy (St. Ephreme's HSS, Mannanam, Aug 13-16).

Don Bosco Trophy (Don Bosco HSS, Irinjalakuda, Sept.3-8); ESSECH Trophy, Changanassery (SH HSS, Changanacherry, Sept. 9-13); Chavara Trophy (Kristu Jyothi HSS, Changanassery, Sept. 17-20); Cristu Jayanthi all-India tournament (Cristu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad, Kochi, Sept. 22-26).

Silver Hills Trophy (Silver Hill HSS, Kozhikode, Sept. 24-27); Decennial Trophy (SH School, Kilimala, Sept. 29-Oct. 1).

Viswajyothi Trophy (Viswajyothi School, Angamaly, Oct. 1-4); Fr. Sales Trophy (Rajgiri School, Kalamassserry, Oct. 5-7); Christ Challenge Trophy (Christ Central School, Thiruvalla, Oct. 8-11); Porukkara Trophy (Porukkara Central School, Champakulam, Oct. 14-18); Christ Trophy (Christ School, Kanganghad, Oct. 21-24).
