VISAKHAPATNAM: Rooting out corruption is not possible by one individual and it's the collective responsibility of the members of society, observed Vice-Chancellor of AP Law University Y. Satyanarayana here on Sunday. Participating in a seminar organised by Lok Satta on eradication of corruption, he urged NGOs like Lok Satta to create awareness among students and participate in anti-corrpution programmes. The Law University would extend its cooperation in case any specific programme on Right to Information Act was organised, he said. Deputy Inspector-General of Police of Central Bureau of Investigation G. Nageswara Rao in his address said that corruption affected everyone. Prof. B. Prasada Rao who chaired the seminar, lamented that corruption had become part of life. Unless the political arena was cleansed, the efforts to control corruption would provide the desired results in the country, he felt. Lok Satta district president C.R.B. Rao, Praja Spandana president C.S. Rao, MVS Rai and others spoke.
