VIJAYAWADA: Communist Party of India has criticised the municipal corporation for the problems which are remaining for a long time in the old city. Participating in a programme here at Kothapet, a party leader, S. Durga Rao, said that “in the name of development many roads were dug up. Potholes were made in at the one-town and still they are in the same condition. But the corporation has not re-laid the roads.” Party city secretary K. Subbaraju asked the corporation officials to take preventive steps in the rainy season. Many other leaders participated at in the programme which covered 35 {+t} {+h} division.
