Charles Diaz, MP, is the chairman of the council. KOCHI: The recently-constituted North Cochin Development Council has expressed concern at the exclusion of Chittoor from the services being offered by the newly-introduced Thiru Kochi KSRTC bus services. A statement from the Development Council said that Chittoor-Kakkanad, Chittoor-Fort Kochi and Chittoor-Chottanikkara were routes that could have been included in the services. The new association of people for the development of north Kochi was constituted at a meeting held at the Vaduthala Anglo Indian School hall on Friday, the press release said. The new council will work for the development of north Kochi, the press release said. Charles Diaz, MP, is the chairman of the council, which has invited representatives of residential associations between Banerjee Road and Chittoor bridge and between Pernandoor canal and Thachu Puzha to attend a meeting, scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Anglo Indian School hall on July 23.
