Girl washed away

VISAKHAPATNAM: A four-year-old girl, Sirisha, who was playing in front of her house at Indiranagar in Gajuwaka area, got washed away by the swirling rainwater overflowing from the storm water drain of Greater Visakha Municipal Corporation. The girl was swept away at 1 p.m., but could not be traced till midnight.

Search operations will be continued from Thursday morning. The police and family members searched for the girl all along the drain, but in vain.
