SI attempts suicide

HYDERABAD: B. Rohit Reddy, Sub-Inspector of Malkajgiri Central Crime Station of Cyberabad, attempted suicide by consuming acid on the station premises in Vishnupuri colony on Friday.

The SI was reportedly ill for quite some time though it is not yet known why he attempted suicide, the local police said.

He was shifted to a corporate hospital where doctors said his condition was critical.
