NEW DELHI: Three goals each from Rabindra Thapliyal and Manish Negi helped Indian Air Force (IAF, New Delhi) record a thumping 9-0 victory over Rohini Club in a Superleague match of the ‘A' division in the DLF-ONGC-SAIL DSA football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday. M. C. Penroo, Anil Kumar and Farhad scored the other goals. In another match, Veterans Club defeated Moonlight Club 3-0. Bablu, Jatinder and Lokesh scored. IAF (Palam) got a walk-over from Friends United as the latter could not assemble a team. Earlier in the relegation play-off in the 'A' division, Ashoka Club came from behind to score a 3-2 victory over Buddhist Blue Stars. Raghav (2) and Sri Ram found the target for Ashoka, after Ajay Kumar (2) had put the BBS ahead. Ashoka will play Royal Club in the second play-off.
