VISAKHAPATNAM: The Forest Rights Act Committee jointly set up by the Ministry of Environment and Forests and Ministry of Tribal Affairs will undertake an extensive tour of agency areas in the district as part of public consultation from July 27 to 30. The committee, comprising Devendar Pandey, Ravi Rebbapragada, C.K. Sridharan, Mannulal Markam and Ravi Chellam, will have a review with District Collector J. Syamala Rao at the end of its tour here on July 30. Mr. Ravi, who is the executive director of Samata, a local NGO, said anyone could meet the committee members and submit their claims, suggestions and complaints on the Forest Rights Act. The committee will have its first consultation at Tyda Jungle Bells and later proceed to Araku, Dumbriguda and Hukumpeta.
