NEW DELHI: Discovery Channel airs a one-hour programme “Disaster In The Gulf: A Race Against Time” this coming Monday to show one of the worst environmental catastrophes in American history.

BP oil leak crisis has been making headlines since its explosion. Millions of gallons of oil has poured out of a broken pipe a mile a beneath the surface of the Gulf of Mexico. The leak has created a massive and unpredictable slick, threatening hundreds of miles of coastline.

It captures eyewitnesses' accounts and interviews with senior BP executives, US coastguards and engineering experts.
