RAJAHMUNDRY: Barre Konda Babu, former chairman of the Standing Committee in Municipal Corporation, has launched relay hunger strike against setting up of slaughterhouse in quarry area. The residents have been holding rallies and dharnas for the last 15 days. Speaking on the occasion Mr Konda Babu said the site allotted for slaughter house should be given to poor people for house sites.
