KANNUR: P.T. Thomas, MP, has urged Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan to drop Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac from the Cabinet before conducting an investigation into the alleged lottery scam. Mr. Thomas said that Dr. Isaac was handing over Rs.58 crore, taken from the poor, to lottery tycoons. If the Minister had self-respect he would step down and face investigation, Mr. Thomas said on Sunday.
