Man arrested for obstructing vehicle of Justice Panigrahi
Berhampur: One person was arrested on Sunday for allegedly obstructing the vehicle of Justice Basudev Panigrahi, who is heading the Commission probing the 2007 Kandhamal riots, in Orissa's Ganjam district.
Sudarshan Sahu of Mathura village created flutters after he obstructed the vehicle of Justice Panigrahi by running in front of it, police said.
The incident took place when Justice Panigrahi was on way to Baliguda in Kandhamal via Aska to hold the camp court from August 2 to 7, SP (Ganjam) Nitinjit Singh said.
The SP said the person was caught by the escort party as he was about to come in front of the running vehicle. — PTI
