Breastfeeding Week begins

BANGALORE: The 19th World Breastfeeding Week began on Sunday with paediatric departments of various hospitals in the city organising a variety of events.

At Manipal Hospital a poster exhibition on the theme “Breastfeeding - just 10 steps away, the baby friendly way” was inaugurated.

The hospital also started a free helpline (9164885430)for contacting its lactation consultant between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. up to Saturday.
