Chennai: K. Kamal's half-century propelled Freeze India to a seven-wicket win over CVRDE in a match for the Lucas TVS–TDCA Trophy here on Sunday.

The scores: CVRDE 149 for six in 26 overs (Surendra Kumar 33, Madukiran 31 n.o., J. Senthil Sudharsan three for 62) lost to Freeze India 155 for three in 17.1 overs (K. Kamal 55, B. Ilaya Murugan 40 n.o.) .
