Narayani Peedam to perform yagam from today

VELLORE: Sri Narayani Peedam will be organising Mahalakshmi Gayatri Maha Yagam on the Peedam premises at Thirumalaikkodi near here from August 3 to 24 in connection with the commencement of the fourth year of the establishment of the Sri Lakshmi Narayani Temple (golden temple) in Sripuram.

Maha Yagam

M. Suresh, Director, Sripuram, Sampath, Manager and Gnanasekharan, Public Relations Officer, Sri Narayani Peedam told newspersons here on Monday that the devotees could perform the yagam from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from August 3 to 23, while the Maha Yagam would be performed by the Peedam on August 24.

Devotees desirous of performing the yagam should register by remitting Rs.504 at the office of the PRO in Sri Narayani Peedam or Sripuram from Tuesday.

Mr. Suresh said that ‘Nithya Annadhanam' would be launched at Sripuram on August 24. Veerendra Hegde, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasala, Karnataka would inaugurate the scheme.
