West Virginia (USA): Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh saved his best for the last as he carded a sparkling four-under 66 in the final round to rise 16 rungs and sign off tied 45th in the Greenbrier Classic golf tournament here. Jeev ended his campaign with a total of 10-under 270 after striking five birdies against just a lone bogey in the final round. However, the other Indian in the fray, Arjun Atwal, dropped down the leaderboard tied 68th after his worst card of the week — a one-over 71 — left him six-under 274 overall. At the top, Australian Stuart Appleby made a stunning final round surge to clinch the trophy. Appleby turned in an astonishing blemish free 11-under 59in the final round to total 22-under 258. Overnight leader Jeef Overton (67) finished second with a total of 259. — PTI
