NCA camp for women
Bangalore: The Indian women's cricket team players and probables are busy sweating it out at the National Cricket Academy. A month-long camp that will conclude on August 30, is currently in progress at the academy and all the leading players including the likes of Mithali Raj are present among the group of 30.
However skipper Jhulan Goswami is a notable absentee as she is down with a bout of viral fever. Goswami is expected to join the camp later this week. The academy intends to make the women's camp an annual event on the lines of the regular stints that are provided for the under-16 and under-19 boys. — Special Correspondent
