Former judge passes away

HYDERABAD: Former judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court and Punjab and Haryana High Court T.H.B. Chalapathi passed away here on Monday. Seventy-six-year-old Justice Chalapathi, had taken ill a month ago and was undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital.

His final rites were performed later in the evening. He headed the single-member commission of inquiry constituted to probe irregularities in the Kuppam experiment project undertaken by TDP government to introduce micro irrigation and modern farm techniques.
