Student ends life

VILLUPURAM: A final year undergraduate student A. Sheela (20), studying in the Villupuram government arts college, set herself afire in her house at Kandampakkam Colony near here on Monday.

After given first aid at the Villupuram government college, she was sent to a Puducherry hospital, where she died on Tuesday morning.

The police are probing the cause of the death.
