Boy's hand crushed under private bus

KANNUR: A 13-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when his left hand was crushed under the front tyre of a private bus here on Tuesday. The boy was rushed to a hospital in Kochi.

The boy, Abhishek, studying in Sreepuram School here, met with the accident when he fell from the two-wheeler he was riding pillion on with his mother Raji near South Bazar here in the morning.

The boy was thrown off the two-wheeler when it was hit by the private bus. The front wheel of the bus ran over his hand. He was immediately rushed to the nearby AKG Hospital and from there to the Specialists Hospital in Kochi.
