New batch of students joins AIIMS

NEW DELHI: A new batch of 72 MBBS students has joined the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences here. This year, nearly 40,000 candidates appeared for the entrance exam and of them 72 were selected.

Of them, 37 belong to the general category and 35 to the reserved category. “These students are selected through a competitive exam conducted every year. Of the selected candidates, 56 are boys and 16 are girls,” noted a release issued by the Institute.
