One more person dies of swine flu

CUTTACK: With the death of one more person in swine flu in a private hospital here on Tuesday evening, the death in the dreaded disease mounted to three in the State during the last three days.

Two persons had earlier died due to the disease in Bhubaneswar during the past two days.

According to sources, one Prasad Kumar Mohanty (48), a native of neighbouring Dhenkanal district died of swine flu at Sun-Apollo hospital here. The deceased was earlier undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar and his swab test reports had indicated presence of H1N1 virus.

Sources, said when the condition of the patient turned critical in Bhubaneswar hospital, he was shifted to the Cuttack hospital on Sunday.
