TNCA appoints specialists
CHENNAI: In an executive committee meeting held here on Tuesday to determine W.V. Raman's successor, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association decided to appoint three specialist coaches instead of a central coach. P.C. Prakash, who guided the State's under-16 team to the final of the national tournament for the Vijay Merchant Trophy, will take care of the batting department.
D.J. Gokulakrishnan, who assisted Raman last season, will look after the bowling while T.S. Mohan, the former RBI cricketer, will look to enhance his reputation of being a fine fielding coach. R.I. Palani will continue as the Tamil Nadu team's cricket manager.
