THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC) proposes to organise seminars and study classes among power consumers to enlighten them about their rights.

In a press release on Wednesday, the commission said it proposed to conduct such awareness programmes at local levels. The commission requested individuals, consumer forums, residents' associations and non-governmental organisations keen on coordinating such programmes to write to the Secretary, Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission, KPFC Bhavan, C.V. Raman Pillai Road, Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram before August 31. They can also e-mail the details to kserc@erckerala.org.

The communication should carry the address, phone number and e-mail address of the person or the group that will coordinate the awareness programme in the locality concerned.
